Our Services

We develop Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and Access Databases that are effective, stable and simple to use. We have experience across a wide range of industries and business functions, developing and support data solutions. Every project is bespoke to a clients requirements and specific needs.

Upgrading and Migrating Your Database

If you're operating on an outdated version of Access or relying on Excel as a pseudo-database, it might be time for an upgrade. Our developers can transition your existing systems to the latest Access version, enhancing performance and functionality. Additionally, migrating to a cloud-based solution using SQL Server can further optimize your operations

Working with us

First we will want to talk to you about your Access database project. This might be a face to face meeting or remotely. During this meeting we will gain an initial understanding of your organisation and the project requirements. We also like to introduce the team who will be supporting you.

The next stage is for us to draft our proposal reflecting your business requirements including costs and timescales for delivery. We are able to offer a number of different cost models, either fix project price or a day rate depending on which works best for you. Up until this stage there is no fiscal commitment from you.

Once you are ready to move forward with your Access project we will arrange a kick of meeting. During this meeting we will review the proposal and agree a detailed specification, as well as outlining a project plan. Projects are always iterative and your consultant will schedule regular reviews to ensure successful progress and agree a testing program.

Once your model is completed we will deploy it to your local environment for further testing and training.

When your Access Database developer has finished and fully installed your model the first month of support is free. This first month will ensure that any unforeseen bugs can be resolved in a live situation. After this time most clients take advantage of our ongoing support agreement.

How our Access Database Developers work with you

Find out about your requirements

We want to talk, either in person or remotely. This gives us a good understanding of your existing processes and business requirements, coupled with what needs to be included in your desired solution. It also introduces you to the team who will be working on the database project.

Specification and Proposal

We will provide you with a detailed brief, based on the insights gained, outlining the options available including the solution, potential costs and timescales to deliver your Access Database. Up until this stage there is no cost to you.

How much will the database cost

For most projects you will be given a fixed cost. This allows you to assess the potential return on investment and ensures no unwanted surprises at the end of the project. Alternatively, we also offer a day rate for the appropriate projects. We are always open to discuss the cost structure and adjust to your parameters.

Development and Delivery

When you are satisfied with the scope and price, we will start the build. Projects are iterative and often evolve during the development. Your Access Developer will be in regular contact with you to update progress. Once your model is completed and delivered, there is a period of training and extensive testing. During this time we will fix bugs and also enhance areas to your approval.

Ongoing Support

When the database is finished and fully installed the first month of support is provided free of charge. This will ensure that any unforeseen bugs can be resolved in a live situation. After this period most customers use our Support Agreement. This gives you peace of mind that we will support you at any time.
