Customer Relationship Management Tool Built in Access
A leading European private equity practice came to xlteq to design and build a bespoke CRM tool to manage and track their investment managers, their clients, and investment opportunities.
The Problem – unorganised data and haphazard reporting
The client had a highly manual tracking and management process for investment managers, their prospects, and client contacts. Data was lacking in quality and held in a number of different systems. In particular they wanted to be able to report on the links within the portfolio between investment managers, clients, contacts, and potential deals.. The project, led by the Client Development Manager, required a full reporting suite which encompassed the following:-
- Activity – internal and external (meeting, phone calls, discussions)
- Contact listings
- Internal directories
- Client contact reports
- Marketing activity and progress
- Internal and external connections
- Vertical and geographical analysis
