How to use Trace Precedents in Excel Spreadsheets

If you are not sure which cells a formula is using, click “Trace Precedents” on the Formulas Tab to view arrows leading from all cells used to the formula cell. “Trace Dependents” does the same thing in reverse and “Remove Arrows” removes the arrows used to show precedents and dependents.
